Osage man charged with murder of Angela Bradbury, who had gone missing earlier this year

OSAGE - An Osage man is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Angela Bradbury, who had gone missing earlier this year.

OSAGE – An Osage man is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Angela Bradbury, who had gone missing earlier this year.

On Friday, August 19, agents with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), members of the Iowa DCI Criminalistics Lab, and Deputies with the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office executed several search warrants and conducted interviews as they continued to investigate the disappearance and death of Angela Bradbury of rural Cerro Gordo county.

Search warrants were served in both Osage, Iowa and St. Ansgar, Iowa in an attempt to obtain additional evidence in the case. Upon completion of the execution of the search warrants, Nathan James Gilmore, age 23 of Osage, Iowa was charged with murder in the first degree.

This case remains active and anyone with information on the murder of Angela Bradbury is asked to call the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office at 641-732-4740 or your local law enforcement agency.

Gilmore is currently being held in the Mitchell County jail on a 1 million dollar cash bond.

Additional assistance was provided by the Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Office, the Iowa State Patrol and the Osage Police Department.

No additional information will be released on the investigation.
