Darlene Carol (Baldwin) Pope, 80, of Britt, IA, passed away August 6, 2022 at Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt.
Darlene was born October 19, 1941, in Wisconsin, daughter of Kenneth and Loretta (Cain) Baldwin. She grew up there and joined the workforce at the young age of 15. She loved working and later obtained her GED. Darlene worked most notably as a nurse’s aide during the day and a bartender at night when her kids were growing up.
Darlene enjoyed shooting pool and going to the casino to play slots. She loved being around people and the outdoors.
Darlene is survived by her children, April Lalor of Britt, and Brian Reich of Clear Lake, IA; 15 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Loretta; and two children, Kathy and Kevin.
