WATERLOO – Waterloo police nabbed a juvenile with a gun after he fired a single shot.
On August 6th, 2022 at 7:22 PM, officers with the Waterloo police department responded to the area of the 200 block of Reber Avenue for a report of a single gun shot. Officers located one spent .40 caliber shell casing. No damage was located. Officers then located the suspect, a 17-year-old male, in the 200 block of Reber Avenue. The suspect was found to be in possession of a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun.
The juvenile was arrested for reckless use of firearm, minor carrying dangerous weapons, persons ineligible to carry dangerous weapons, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
