OBIT: Mary E. Studer

Mary Studer, 59, of Mason City, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at her home in Mason City.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St. NE, Mason City. Inurnment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Mary’s family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home on Friday.
Should friends desire, memorials and condolences may be left to her family in care of Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel.

A lifelong resident of Mason City, Mary Ellen Studer was born on October 20, 1962 to Jerry and Regina (Zroslik) Studer. She grew up alongside her older brother, Mike, and graduated from Mason City High School.

Throughout the years Mary had worked at Curries, Winnebago Industries, the Salvation Army, and most recently Z’Mariks and WalMart.

Mary enjoyed time spent with her family. She and her son, Cody, were especially close the last few years and she loved time spent with her grandchildren, Adrianna, William, Cayden, and Alayna. Mary was fortunate to live just two blocks away from her mother, and oftentimes she would walk over to enjoy their evening together.

She was an animal lover and shared her home with her dog, Bailey, and two cats, Patches and Midnight.

Those grateful in sharing in Mary’s life are her son, Cody; mother, Regina Studer; grandchildren, Adrianna, William, Cayden, and Alayna; brother, Mike (Gerry) Studer; nieces and nephew, Ben, Jessica, and Mackenzie; as well as her aunts and uncles, cousins, and extended relatives.

Mary is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Studer; as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.
