Alan Chester Linge, the son of Marvin and Dorothy (Tenhoff) Linge was born on January 12, 1947, in Estherville, Iowa. He died on Friday, June 17, 2022 at his home in Dolliver at the age of 75 years.
He attended and graduated from Armstrong High School before going to Iowa Lakes Community College and Iowa State University.
Alan was drafted into the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, he went to work for Railway Motors/Fairmont Tamper in Fairmont, MN for 38 years.
In his free time, Alan enjoyed working on equipment on his hobby farm, collecting brass figurines and attending auctions.
Alan is survived by his son, Christopher (Brandy) Linge; grandchildren, Olivia, Chloe, Emma, Lailah, and Baby Linge (due in January); his brothers, Dennis (Phyllis) Linge and Curtis (Cheryl) Linge; as well as his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Dorothy (Tenhoff) Linge and his brother, Calvin Linge.
