OBIT: Joyce Ann Naig

Joyce Ann (Kleeberger) Naig, 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 14,2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Monday, June 13 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Joyce was born October 21, 1941, to Ray and Ruth (Massey) Kleeberger of Claremont, Minn. On August 17, 1963, she married Paul R. Naig of Osage and they shared a full life as a United States Air Force military family until 1984 when they retired to Osage.

Joyce was a mother of three, a grandmother of five grandsons and one great grandson. She loved to travel, having visited many European countries and much of the United States of America throughout her life. She also loved to oil paint, and as a young mother taught her children, along with other children, the skill of painting in an afterschool art program. Joyce belonged to the sorority Beta Sigma Phi since 1980; both in Michigan and in Osage. In her most recent years, Joyce belonged to the Mitchell County Democrats and was very passionate about the political landscape of the United States.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents. Also, by her husband, Paul in 2004, as well as many beloved relatives and friends.
Joyce is survived by her three children and their families: Kelley and Steve Stotts and their two sons, Jordan and Joshua; Doug; and Kara and Michael Trettin and Kody and Kaitlin Zimmerman, Justin Zimmerman, and Brett Zimmerman and Kayla Tubbs and their son Paul Zimmerman.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Mitchell County Regional Health Center for their continued care and support over the past few years.
