DOLORES E MCCARTY, age 100, of Dunedin, Florida, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Dolores was born in Fairfax, South Dakota on April 1, 1921. She Graduated from High School and married Ted R. Smith on December 23, 1940. Dolores worked in Retail Sales for McCleary’s & Winslow’s. She was a member of Estherville Calvary Baptist and served in the Choir and as the Sunday School Director. Dee had a passion for gardening and reading.
She was survived by Children Joyce (Duane) Johnson & Ronald (Marlene) Smith, Grandchildren Curtis Johnson, Kevin (Jennifer) Johnson, Kimberly Johnson; Scott (Wendy) Smith, Marcus (Deana) Smith, Miriam (Tony) Finley , 13 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, her husbands Ted Smith and Merle McCarty, her companion, Roland Vincent and her son, Gayle Smith and Grandson Christopher Johnson.
