EMMETSBURG – A Northern Iowa woman was arrested on warrants for allowing a dog to run loose.
On Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 03:06 PM, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Heather Peterson of Emmetsburg on three valid Palo Alto County warrants for violation of Graettinger City Ordinance 55.06 – allowing a dog to run at large within the city limits of Graettinger. Peterson was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail, given an unsecured bond, and released on her promise to appear in front of a magistrate at a later date.
Peterso was guilty of violating this same ordinance back in 202o and ordered to pay $790.00 in fines and court fees.
