Two busted with marijuana at Emmet county wildlife area

EMMET COUNTY – Two people were arrested in rural Emmet County Sunday evening on drug charges as the result of an investigation into a vehicle parked at a wildlife preservation area one mile south of Estherville.

According to Emmet County Sheriff Mike Martens, a sheriff’s deputy on patrol shortly after 10pm that evening observed a vehicle parked and running at the Cheever Lake wildlife area and upon investigation of the matter, located two occupants in the vehicle. Upon further investigation at the scene the occupants were found to be in possession of 12.13 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

As a result, 20-year-old Renee Fisher age of Estherville and 22-year-old Dominique Johnson of Sahuarita, Arizona were taken into custody and transported to the Emmet County Jail where Fisher was booked for Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Johnson was booked for Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense.

The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Estherville Police Department.

Nothing like enjoying nature stoned!

The New Jersey Attorney General said it’s OK if off duty police smoke cannabis. Just so long as it’s brought legally. The CBD is for pain management. It’s effects are excellent. There is no high to this kind. The other kind will get you high. At the end of the day it just makes you stupid and it does mess with your short term memory. Chronic users generally suffer these impairments. And of course, people lie. The above is the truth. Go with the truth or the lies. Your choice.
