Jon Earl Henaman, age 71, of Mason City, Iowa, passed away March 27, 2022, at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City. He was born September 1, 1950, in Spencer, Iowa, to Earl Charles and Shirley Ann (Hively) Henaman.
Jon grew up around Spencer, Iowa and attended school there for a time. He lived the nomad life for a while and enjoyed traveling. He met Cindy Lemke and they married; spending 25 years together. He enjoyed listening to classic rock and having a Mountain Dew while watching his westerns. He was a strong character and worked hard his whole life. He could build anything from the ground up on his own.
Jon is survived by his children, Elizabeth ( Kevin) Kunzman and Jack ( Erika) Henaman; grandchildren, Michelle (Matt) Behrends, Winter Classon, Myles Classon, Devin Visger, Alana Henaman, Kayla Stillions, and Samantha Gardner; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Shirley; and seven siblings.
The family will announce a time and place for a Celebration of Life at a later date.
