DUBUQUE – A person was hit and killed by a train in Iowa.
On March 31, 2022, at approximately 12:01 p.m. the Dubuque Police Department responded to the East 11th/Elm Street railroad crossing for the report of a person hit by a southbound train. An adult male was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased was not released, pending appropriate next of kin notifications.
