CHARLES CITY – Police in Charles City are warning citizens of a possible creeper posing as a city employee.
The Charles City police department took a report Wednesday morning of a person who knocked on a door in the 100 block of 15th Avenue. The male claimed to be from the water department and asked for entrance to the house. He was wearing a tool belt, a blue jacket, blue jeans and was over 6 feet tall. He was not from the utility department and was not let into the house by the caller.
Police warned citizens to “Please be aware of this and call 228-3366 immediately if you have a suspicious person come to your door.”
I would invite him in and shoot him! SIMPLE!
