CHARLES CITY – Cops chased a wanted Charles City man on a bike, then allegedly caught him with illegal drugs.

The incident took place on December 23, 2021.  Police in Charle City spotted 28-year-old Caleb Green on a bike in the 100 block of 3rd Avenue.  Police say a brief chase ensued as they approached.  Green was charged with felony D third-offense possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor interference with official acts.  Police say Green had five outstanding warrants for his arrest when he was caught.

Green has been appointed a public defender and remains jailed in Floyd county, awaiting arraignment on February 1, 2022.

    Charles city resident… hahahaha
    Come on folks welfare good in Floyd county.
    The only problem is the judicial system isn’t quite as broke as it is where he came from. But it’s getting there
