OBIT: Joseph Evan Rodamaker

Joseph Evan Rodamaker, 75, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Grand Ji Vante in Ackley. A time of visitation for Joseph Rodamaker will be Sunday December 5, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Linn’s Funeral Chapel, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa . There will be a small service at 2:30 pm and burial at Northlawn Memory Gardens at 3:00 pm. Memorials may be directed to the family: Joseph Rodamaker memorial ℅ Linn’s Funeral Home, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126.

Joseph Evan Rodamaker was born August 8, 1946, in Charles City, Iowa, to Lloyd William and Anna Theresa (Winters) Rodamaker. Joe attended Iowa Falls Schools. Joe enlisted in the U.S. Army on October 10, 1966, serving until October 9, 1969. He served with the 520th Quartermaster Company, Fort Lee, Virginia. He later joined and retired from the Iowa National Guard in 1993. On April 7, 1985, Joe was united in marriage to Laurie Ann Baker and to this union two sons were born; Evan and Adam. Joe was a self employed truck driver until retirement in 2011.

Joe is survived by his wife: Laurie Rodamaker of Iowa Falls; his sons: Evan (Beth) Rodamaker of Alden; Adam Rodamaker of Iowa Falls; Ryan (Michelle) Miller of Cedar Falls; eleven grandchildren: Hunter, Alex, Jade, Cole, Sakya, Brooklyn, Kollin, Brice, Daniel, Elli, and Addi; and one brother James Rodamaker of Iowa Falls.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents: Lloyd and Anna Rodamaker; brother and sister in law: Gerald and Dorothy Rodamaker.
