Donna Siedschlag, 83, of Ackley, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 in Ackley. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 26th at the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley. A private burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Ackley.
Donna Mae Abbas, was born on April 29, 1938 to Henry G. and Lucile Marie (Roegner) Abbas. Donna passed away on November 22 with her daughter by her side.
She married Bernard Siedschlag on April 4, 1959. They had two daughters, Terrie and Tammie.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Tammie, husband Bernard, parents Henry and Lucile Abbas, sister Beverly (Abbas) Witt and brother Duane Abbas.
She is survived by her daughter Terrie (Dave) Van Zwol, grandchildren Lacey (Willis) Hennings, Ben (Janeen) Van Zwol, Cody Van Zwol, great-grandchildren Owen, Neeley and Nash Hennings, Landon and Liam Van Zwol, Kyle and Emerson Van Zwol and Rachel Van Zwol and her two sisters Barbara Johns and Linda Launderville.
A very important person in Donna’s life was her sister Barb. They spent many hours together playing cards and drinking coffee. Barb’s children Evan, Mark, Susan and Mike filled her heart with many memories too. Barb, I will always love you and your family, my mom’s heart is full. Love, Terri.
