OBIT: Brian Hoisington

Brian Hoisington, 59, of Osage, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family after an 11 year battle with cancer.

A funeral service for Brian Hoisington will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage with Pastor Bruce Kaltwasser officiating. Burial will follow at Osage Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage and continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Brian Keith Hoisington, the son of Howard and Myrna (Krahn) Hoisington, was born on April 13, 1962 in Osage. Brian graduated from Osage High School in 1980. On August 24, 1985 Brian was united in marriage to Lori Adams at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

Brian farmed with his father and worked at Winnebago for 30 plus years. He enjoyed hunting, rebuilding cars, and taking care of his cows. Above everything, Brian loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Living family members include his wife, Lori; daughters: Katie (Matthew) Eggers, Cassie Hoisington, and Samantha (Brent) Tabbert; grandchildren: Elsie and Ellie-Mae Eggers, Parker, Briie, Milo, and Rosalie Hoisington, and Addilynn, Hayden, and Kenzi Tabbert; mother, Myrna Hoisington, and brother, Alan (Ann) Hoisington; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard; grandparents; and brother-in-law, Wayne Adams.
