Susan A. McGregor, 58, of Algona, died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City

A visitation will be held from 1 – 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Oakcrest Funeral Services in Algona.

Susan Ann McGregor was born on November 5, 1962 in Algona; daughter of Duane F. and Betty (Hill) McGregor. She grew up in Algona attending school through the 8th grade. Susan traveled around and ended up living in Reno, NV for a short while before moving back to Algona.

In 1981, she was united in marriage to Michael Nock. They were blessed with three children. Susan and Michael were later divorced.

Susan enjoyed fishing, thrift store shopping, garage sales and crocheting blankets. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City. She was 58.

She is survived by her daughters, Sarah (Corey) McGuire of Spencer, Linda Fenwick of Wyoming, MI; grandchildren, Austin Fenwick, Hannah Fenwick, Malaki Nock, Caedyn Fenwick, Abigail Fenwick, Luna McGuire, Raina McGuire; siblings, Duane E. “Yogi” (Karen) McGregor of Algona, Robert (Anesa) McGregor of Ayrshire, Thomas (Angela) McGregor of Fort Dodge, Michael (Melinda) McGregor of Rockford, Raymond Valetti of Bloomington, IN, Louis (Krista) Valetti of Algona, Teresa (Michael) Trimble of Spencer, IN, Veronica Valetti of Bancroft, Mary Valetti of Spencer, IN; step-mother, Marian McGregor of Algona; a sister-in-law, Karen J. McGregor of Lu Verne; and many nieces and nephews.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents; son, Nathan Nock; infant sister, Donna Jean; brother, John McGregor; and special friend, Gary Heetland.
