Joseph “Joe” Branchcomb. Jr., age 75, of Humboldt passed away on October 19, 2021 at Unity Point Health Allen Memorial in Waterloo. Funeral services will be 10 AM on Saturday October 23rd at the Lentz Funeral Home in Humboldt. Burial will take place in Union Cemetery in Humboldt. Visitation will be 9 am until service time on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
Joseph Andrew Branchcomb, Jr., the son of Joseph Andrew and Georgia (Boatwright) Branchcomb, Sr., was born on June 29, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended Lincoln High School in Des Moines. Joe was an over the road truck driver working for several companies. On August 20, 1994 Joe was united in marriage with Tina Haddenham in Osceola, Iowa. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, movie night with his grandsons, helping other people and loved the time he spent with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish Joe’s memory is his wife of 27 years, Tina; children, Louie (Brenda) Branchcomb of Des Moines, Rick (Linda) Paul of Sturtevant, WI, Cheri (Shane) Heim of Des Moines, Crista (Jerry) Sellens of McPherson, KS, Jenny (James) Branchcomb of Montrose, CO, Amanda (Nathan) Dietrich of McPherson, KS, Melissa (Jason) Rees of Humboldt and Les (Megan) Biebinger of Evanston, WY; 17 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, John (Virginia) Branchcomb of Pensacola, FL and Dan (Marylin) Branchcomb of Des Moines; and a sister, Arlene Riley of Osceola. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dave Branchcomb.
