MASON CITY – A Mason City fast food joint was robbed and an unsuspecting employee was terrorized by the intruder.
On August 7, 2021, an employee arrived at Dairy Queen to open the business. Unknown to the employee there was a male subject inside the building. The male subject then threatened the employee with a knife. The employee was able to get away and leave the business. The employee then called the Mason City Police Department. The male subject was gone upon police arrival.
The investigation into this incident is still on going. Anyone with further information is encouraged to contact the Mason City Police Department.
