COLLEGEVILLE, PA – Comedian Bill Cosby’s sex assault conviction has been overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the famous actor shall be released from captivity.
The news came down today that Bill Cosby’s rights were violated when he was charged and convicted for at least one of the sexual assaults alleged by numerous accusers.
Cosby’s freedom – which will reportedly be immediate – will be a tough pill for his accusers to swallow, but some celebrated the news.
Phylicia Rashad, who played Cosby’s wife on the 80’s sitcom The Cosby Show, tweeted, “FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!”
