Travis Lee Best, 53, died on May 29, 2021, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.
A Graveside will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 11495 265th St, Mason City, IA. Following the Graveside, the family will be holding a Celebration of Life at Praise Community Church, 11 2nd St NW, Mason City, IA.
Travis was born on July 12, 1969, the son of Robert and Nancy (Wheeler) Best of Mason City. He spent his life as a welder. When Travis had free time he could often be found working on cars.
Loved ones of Travis will remember him for doing anything for those he cared about. He was a tough guy with a big heart.
Those left to cherish memories of Travis are his son, Lee Best; sister, Bobbie Flores; as well as countless extended family members and friends.
Travis is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Best and Nancy (Wheeler) Garcia, sister, Rhonda Best; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
