DES MOINES – Today Governor Kim Reynolds signed S.F. 160 at the Iowa State Capitol, giving Iowa parents the option to send their kids back to school full time.
Reynolds signed SF 160 in the Iowa State Capitol Rotunda this morning at 11 AM, surrounded by supporters and some children.
“Just signed legislation into law giving parents the option to send their child back to school full time!” Reynolds tweeted after she signed the bill.
Earlier, Reynolds tweeted, “It’s time to put local control in the hands of our parents!”
Some fear the spread of Covid-19 in schools with more children attending.

must be the leader huh
She is a piss poor leader. Look at her mandates – wear a mask, social distance, stay safe. She is doing none of that.
whats with alll this tweet stuff, never used to be
It’s never really been taken to seriously in Iowa. It reoccurs with each new strain a person comes in contact with. Some worst then others. The living wander on into the unknown and the departed are at peace.
Well that’s a pretty accurate take on this pandemic in Iowa, seems like.
