IOWA CITY – Iowa was defeated by Ohio State Wednesday in a Big Ten Conference home game, as former Mohawk Megan Meyer scored 5 points.
Iowa (8-3, 4-3) had its 42-game home winning streak snapped by #15 Ohio State (7-0, 3-0). The Hawkeyes led 44-32 at halftime.
Freshman Caitlin Clark and sophomore McKenna Warnock each registered their fourth-career double-doubles. Clark scored 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, and Warnock tallied 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Sophomore Gabbie Marshall pulled down a season-high 6 rebounds.
Three Hawkeyes recorded double figures, including Clark (27), Warnock (14), and Marshall (10).
Former Mason City Mohawk Megan Meyer scored 5 points with one assist in about 15 minutes of game action.
