ALBERT LEA, MN – Albert Lea police are investigating a neighborhood shooting incident.
On October 8, 2020 at approximately 10:24PM, officers of the ALPD were dispatched to a weapons violation on the 700-block of Jefferson Avenue. The Reporting Person stated vehicle sounds were heard in the area, along with two gunshots.
Officers were unable to locate victims or damage to residences, vehicles, or personal property. Shell casings were located. Based on information and evidence collected, it is believed that a firearm was discharged from a moving vehicle.
This case remains under investigation.
