ESTHERVILLE, IOWA – Cops in Estherville say juveniles have been charged after Joe Biden election signs were stolen.
Estherville police say an ongoing case regarding stolen Biden for President campaign signs has been solved. The Estherville Police Department received information about those responsible, police said in a statement. After receiving that information from the public, officers confronted two male juveniles in regard to the theft of the campaign signs. The missing items were given to the officers. The two juvenile males have been charged in the case with undisclosed charges.
Police thanked the public for their assistance in this case, and offered some advice; “Some words of wisdom for today: If it isn’t yours… keep your hands off of it.”
Other communities in the North Iowa region have suffered the loss of campaign signs, including Mason City and Clear Lake.
