PALO ALTO COUNTY, IOWA – A Spencer woman is accused of assaulting a jailer.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says that on September 17, 2020, at 6:45 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office charged 40-year-old Johnette Sue Dodds of Spencer, Iowa, with assault on persons of certain occupations – jailer – no injury, a serious misdemeanor. They say that While Dodds was being booked into the Palo Alto County Jail on an arrest warrant, Dodds assaulted a jailer at the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office. The jailer did not sustain injuries in the assault.
Dodds remained in custody at the Palo Alto County Jail where she awaits an initial appearance in front of a judge.
