CHARLES CITY – Two Charles City women were arrested after police investigated an alleged assault.
The incident took place on August 31. That evening at about 6:14 PM, officers with the Charles City police department went to the 1400 block of Gilbert Street to investigate an assault. After the investigation, police arrested a wanted woman, 33-year-old Shawna Stiles, on valid arrest warrants. Also arrested was 30-year-old Christina Fairchild, charged with assault.
