AMES – Iowa State was soundly beaten by Texas Tech by 30 points Saturday in Hilton Coliseum, 87-57.
Texas Tech (18-9, 9-5 Big 12) shot 57.1 percent from the field en route to an 87-57 victory over Iowa State (11-16, 4-10 Big 12) Saturday evening in Hilton Coliseum.
The Red Raiders hit on 72.0 percent (18-25) of their shots in the first half to take control of the game early. Jahmi’us Ramsey led all players with 25 points.
Solomon Young led the Cyclones with 16 points. He made 5-of-6 shots from the field and grabbed five rebounds. Rasir Bolton added 13 points and Michael Jacobson had a team-high 10 rebounds, his fourth double-digit rebounding effort of the season.
Iowa State remains at home to face TCU on Tuesday (Feb. 25). Tipoff is at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
