Mark Smith epresents Marshalltown in the Iowa State House, and formerly served as House Dem Leader. “A sixth generation Iowan, Mark has the breadth of experience and record of leadership to strengthen our path to victory and elect Democrats up and down the ballot this Nov.”
IDP Chairman Troy Price resigned Wednesday.
“The fact is that Democrats deserved better than what happened on caucus night. As chair of this party, I am deeply sorry for what happened and bear the responsibility for any failures on behalf of the Iowa Democratic Party,” Price wrote in his resignation letter.

I have stated before, that app worked just the way it was supposed to. For how long have we heard that we, Iowans, shouldn’t be first in the nation to caucus? This incident, has gotten the party leaders on the coast, their wish. The Democratic party of Iowa was marginalized, good luck getting back to counting again.
It was plain to see, Midwest values didn’t coincide with what the Elders wanted. They had to take any “power” away, otherwise they don’t get what they have planned for.
