AMES – Iowa State lost a Big 12 home game to Kansas Wednesday night, 79-53.
Iowa State never led in the game. Kansas (12-2, 2-0), ranked #3 in the nation, built a 20-point halftime lead over Iowa State (7-7, 0-2), 46-26, en route to the easy victory in the long-running rivalry. Kansas led the game by as many as 31 points.
Rasir Bolton led the Iowa State offense with 12 points.
Iowa State nexts welcomes Oklahoma to Ames on Saturday. The game tips off at 7 PM and will be televised on ESPN2.
