IOWA CITY – Iowa defeated Princeton, 77-75, in women’s college basketball Thursday.
Kathleen Doyle led the Hawkeyes in scoring with 21 points, 9 assists, and went 10 for 12 from the free-throw line. Ollinger led the Hawkeyes with 13 rebounds, recording a career high.
Three Hawkeyes scored in double figures: Kathleen Doyle (21), former Mason City Mohawk Makenzie Meyer (19), and Monika Czinano (10).
Iowa shot 76 percent from the free throw line (19-25).
Iowa heads to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to play in the Puerto Rico Clasico. The Hawkeyes will take on Cincinnati (Nov. 27), Towson (Nov. 28), and Washington (Nov. 30).
