The arrest occurred on October 27, 2019. At 1:34 AM that morning, officers with the Charles City police department made a traffic stop in the 1800 block of North Grand Avenue. The driver was identified at 42-year-old Shannon Temple of Charles City. After an investigation, the driver was determined to be intoxicated, had no proof of insurance and was speeding.
Temple was arrested on charges of first-offense operating while intoxicated, speeding and no proof of insurance.
