Tennessee man wanted on kidnapping charge caught at Decorah campground

DECORAH – A man out of Tennessee wanted on a charge of aggravated kidnapping has been caught at a Decorah campground.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office says that on the morning of Tuesday, July 9 at about 11 AM, law enforcement from the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol and Decorah Police Department worked together to locate and apprehend 38-year-old Henry J. Nagorny at the Pulpit Rock Campground in Decorah. Nagorny was wanted on an arrest warrant out of Tennessee for failure to appear on original charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, and domestic assault.

Nagorny was arrested and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail.
