DES MOINES– Gov. Kim Reynolds today announced her appointment of Christopher Polking as a district court judge in Judicial Election District 2B.
Polking, of Carroll, Iowa, received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. He currently practices law at the Polking Law Office in Carroll and previously served as a part-time judicial magistrate in Carroll County for nine years.
Judicial Election District 2B includes Boone, Calhoun, Carroll, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Humboldt, Marshall, Pocahontas, Sac, Story, Webster, and Wright counties.
