If he’s in the river, he’s turtle food.

its pretty shitty, kinda think they are just dragging their feet to keep people off the river. who wants to go tubing when you could end up bumping into a stinking corpse. i hope youre right and the snappers and painted turtles and catfish have done away with the nasty parts.

Why isnt law enforcement bringing in at least CERT? Thats what they are for and why they get grants for training. Law enforcement is being very insensitive to this family& friends. not surprised. They even have dogs to bring in and they wont do that either. Unreal.

because the sherriff has been sherriff for to long? because cerro gordo cant spend money unless its on crap we dont need or want? because they dont really give a damn about people at all? i think the last one. they gotta keep money in the budget to pay off the detroit and chicago snitch network? in any case it comes down to a lack of compassion and a lack of interest. the cops dont give a shit about people.

try trying, lots of people around here would like to get on the river for summer fun, like they do every year. but cant because the county wont take the time to find the floater. last thing anyone wants is to ruin a day of river recreation or camping because they had the misfortune of finding the bloated remains of a man the local leos just dont seem to be putting alot of effort into, havent sonce this story broke. on another hand, illinois. you can keep your drunken meth using carpenters in your own damn state.
