Heavy snow was falling on the evening of February 23, 2019

MASON CITY – A tow ban is currently in affect for Cerro Gordo County roads until further notice. Travel is not advised.

The sheriff’s office is receiving multiple calls for vehicles in the ditches throughout the county. Sheriff’s deputies are unable to reach all vehicles currently stuck.

Cerro Gordo County deputies will only be responding to medical emergencies until further notice. For your safety, and the safety of all emergency responders, please stay off the roads until the weather clears.

you missed my point, DRIVE OUT IN THE COUNTY, when did Cargill move out in the county??? im talking about in the county where it was bad, they just drive out to see if its really as bad as the officals say it is. I know I been there and rescued a lot of them idiots

You are a hero for rescuing them idiots

What about those who had to work no matter what? Cargill refused to call off, and made workers come in. I had to go get several people last night from cargill. One of there cars is stuck on the corner of 15th.

still be a handful of idiots who will drive out in the county to see how bad it really is
