NIACC men ranked 15th in latest poll

MASON CITY – The NIACC men’s basketball team is No. 15 in the NJCAA Division II poll released Tuesday.

NIACC (11-2 overall, 2-0 ICCAC) was No. 14 in the Jan. 8 and Dec. 18 polls. The Trojans entered the poll at No. 19 in the Dec. 11 poll.

South Suburban (Ill.) is ranked No. 1 and Highland (Kan.) is ranked No. 2. Kirkwood is ranked No. 4 and Iowa Lakes is No. 20.

NIACC returns to action Wednesday at DMACC. The men’s game is slated to start at 7:30 p.m. on the DMACC campus in Boone. The Trojans have won 10 straight games and have not lost since falling to Iowa Western (100-76) on Nov. 5.
