RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – The Cerro Gordo county sheriffs’ office responded to a single vehicle roll over accident with injuries on Friday. A 2005 Ford F250 Super Duty pickup was southbound on Balsam Avenue near 340th Street when the driver lost control due to the frost covered road. A single occupant in the pickup, Allison Kraft, age 30 of Joice, was transported for a head injury and complaint of pain in her upper torso.
The pickup was a total loss.
Balsam Avenue was 100% frost/ice covered at the time of the accident, the sheriff’s office said.
