BREMER COUNTY – A Charles City woman was injured in an auto crash Monday in Bremer county.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident took place Monday, November 26 at around 7:24 AM on Highway 218 south of Plainfield. Nyjaya Foster, age 18 of Charles City, was traveling northbound on Highway 218 when she lost control of her vehicle, a 2008 Dodge Avenger. It entered the median and rolled several times, coming to rest on its wheels in the southbound lanes of the highway.
As a result of the crash, Foster, who was wearing a seatbelt, was injured. She was transported by Waverly ambulance to a Waverly hospital with undisclosed injuries.
