MASON CITY – The No. 10 Ellsworth wrestling team topped NIACC 31-15 in an ICCAC dual Wednesday night in the NIACC gym.
Picking up wins for the Trojans (0-1) were Brock Luthens by overtime decision at 133, Hunter Luke by forfeit at 141 and Holt Truax by fall at 197.
Luthens (2-2) topped Ellsworth’s Hector Candelaria, 8-7, in overtime and Truax (3-1) pinned the Panthers’ Devon Gordon in 3 minutes, 56 seconds.
NIACC returns to action Saturday at the Coe College Invitational Cedar Rapids.
