MASON CITY – The Iowa Department of Natural Resources today announced a staff update in its Mason City office.

Trent Lambert has been promoted to Supervisor of DNR’s Field Office 2 in Mason City. Trent replaces Jeff Vansteenburg, who retired at the end of June.  He was previously a Senior Environmental Specialist, who took a look at the demolition of Madison School in Mason City after possible environmental violations were spotted.

Mr. Lambert’s first day on the job in his new position was September 7th.
