NORTHWOOD – A North Iowa man fled a traffic stop on foot and once he was tracked down, dropped his meth baggies, leading to felony charges.
On September 23, 2018 at approximately 6:53 PM, a Deputy with the Worth County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a 2002 Dodge Dakota for not having an exhaust at the intersection of Partridge Ave and 485th Street. As a result of the investigation, it was learned there was a felony drug warrant out for a passenger in the vehicle, 39 year old Brandon Hauge of Northwood. While attempting to detain Hauge, he took off and a foot pursuit ensued. Hauge was taken into custody for Interference with Official Acts and for an active warrant.
Deputies later went out to the scene and observed where Hauge had fallen; approximately 5 grams of methamphetamine in two plastic baggies with one being packaged for sale and a pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine. The methamphetamine was discovered in a Copenhagen Snus tin can. Hauge also had a matching tin can in his possession when he was taken into custody along with a torch lighter that is commonly used for smoking methamphetamine and a substantial amount of cash.
Hauge was booked into the Worth County Jail for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Failure to Affix Drug Tax Stamp, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Interference with Official Acts and on an active warrant.
He is the fattest meth head I’ve ever seen. He musta been making the stuff with powdered sugar. Run hillbilly, run!!!

Following a routine records check of driver and passenger, the deputy learned that the passenger, Brandon Hauge, 39, of Northwood, had a valid ARREST WARRANT FOR ???

Due to what reason(s)???…. Deputies from Worth(?) County [MANY Iowa counties have specialties that are shared with other counties] on [ date???] returned to the scene of Hauges’ fall because???
Deputies (from?) ALLEGEDLY found plastic bags at the scene where Hauge fell[ (“Baggies” are a trade name. ] that were ALLEGEDLY dropped by Hauge and ALLEGEDLY contained methamphetamine.
NIT stated all of this as being FACTUAL.
How is Hauge going to get a FAIR trial in Cerro Gordo County if everything he is ACCUSED of is stated as being TRUE by local media SANS confirmation?
Oh. And btw. Apparently NIT forgot to mention ANYTHING about the driver. Name? Age? Home town? Disposition involving this traffic stop? Marital status? Colour of his socks?

I look at this drug thing from a different point of view. In response to your rhetorical inquiry; HOPEFULLY, a new, more powerful strain of meth will be invented. So powerful that users will die after one dose. (Eliminates the market). And sellers will be charged with murder. (Eliminates the sources) Word gets out: NO ONE wants to even TRY. the shit.
