FOREST CITY – Police say one person was hurt in a recent auto accident in Forest City, and a North Iowa woman was issued two citations as a result.
On September 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM, a two vehicle accident was reported on Hwy 69 S near Casey’s General Store. Forest City police say those involved in the accident were: Herman John Hilmer, age 79 of Cedar Falls, IA driving a 2005 Chevy pickup and Ashley Rae Fails, age 26 of Thompson, IA driving a 2016 Dodge Journey. One possible injury was reported at the time of the accident. Damage was estimated over $5000.
Fails was cited for having No Insurance and Failure To Yield Right of Way when Entering a Highway.
