CHARLES CITY – Grant applications can now be submitted to the Floyd County Community Foundation for its 2018 grant cycle.
The deadline to submit applications is 11:59 p.m. September 30, 2018. Grants are awarded to projects in the following areas: art and culture, community betterment, education, health, historic preservation, human service and environment.
The online grant application may be found at www.floydccf.org. Potential applicants should note that the application process allows only online submission of grant requests. Grant recipients will be announced in December 2018. Completed applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. September 30, 2018 to be considered for funding. Since 2006, the Floyd County Community Foundation has awarded over $1 million in grants to Floyd County projects.
First-time grant applicants should contact Dotti Thompson, Program Director, at (319) 243-1358 prior to submitting an application. Grant applicants must be a 501(c)(3) designated organization (or government entity) serving Floyd County in order to be considered for funding.
