Meth, weed and paraphernalia found in search of Northwood apartment, sheriff says

NORTHWOOD – Illicit drugs and paraphernalia were found in a search of a Northwood apartment, the Worth county sheriff said today.

On August 15, 2018, the Worth County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at 904 9th Ave N #9 in Northwood. As a result of the search warrant, multiple pipes used for smoking marijuana, multiple pipes used for smoking methamphetamine, a hypodermic needle, marijuana, and approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine were recovered from the residence.

Theresa Book of Northwood was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Serious Misdemeanor) and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Class B Felony).

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
