MESA, Ariz. – NIACC’s Courtney Tusler shot a third-round 54-42 – 96 at the NJCAA Division I national golf tournament Wednesday at the Longbow Golf Course.

After three rounds, Tusler has a score of 99-105-96 – 300.
“After a rough front nine, Courtney got her driver going and in turn really played well on the back nine to shoot a 42,” NIACC coach Chris Frenz said. “She got her confidence back.

“Now, she is excited for the final round (Thursday) to show herself that she can play this course and get into the 80s. We’re hoping for a solid finish to her golf career and with her positive approach I’m expecting good things to happen.”

Last season at the national tournament in Georgia, Tusler placed 90th with a 92-93-94-96 – 375.

The fourth round of the national tournament is set for Thursday.
