MASON CITY – A Mason City dental assistant has been fined by a state board for practicing radiology license.
Lindsay Karsjens, a dental assistant listed with a Mason City work address by the State of Iowa, has been disciplined for practicing radiography (taking x-rays) without a current radiography qualification, in violation of Iowa law.
Karsjens has been cited for practicing dental radiography without a current radiography qualification and warned that future violations may result in further disciplinary action. She must pay a $100.00 fine. She is listed by the State of Iowa as an employee at a dental office located at 2800 4th Street SW in Mason City.
The Board will report its action against Karsjens to the National Practitioner Data Bank.
