CHARLES CITY – A Charles City woman was allegedly involved in a disturbance which brought police, whom she then threatened.
The incident took place of March 16, 2018, when police were dispatched to the 600 block of 11th Street for a disturbance. Allegedly, police encountered 38-year-old Tiffany Nicole Mathis. Allegedly, she threatened an officer. As a result of her actions and an investigation, Mathis was arrested for first-degree harassment and second-offense operating while intoxicated.
Mathis was jailed and soon released, pending a March 30 court appearance. She was guilty of drunk driving in Fayette county back in 2009.
