MASON CITY – A Clear Lake man was caught behind the wheel in Mason City after police say he drove drunk last fall and had meth and weed in his possession.

A Mason City police officer conducted a traffic stop after midnight on Sunday, March 11 near the 1500 block of 4th Street SE. After an investigation, the driver, 30-year-old Nicholas Dean Mostrom of Clear Lake was found to be driving with a revoked license. Mostrom had been caught in Mason City back on November 11, allegedly drunk driving. He also allegedly had methamphetamine and marijuana in his possession. He was jailed and soon released.

Then, Mostrom was caught driving illegally by a Cerro Gordo deputy on December 14. Allegedly, he had a long knife and marijuana in his possession.
