Convicted ecstasy dealer sent to prison for possession of meth and marijuana

MASON CITY – A convicted ecstasy dealer who has served time in a state prison was caught with illegal meth and marijuana and has now been ordered back to prison.

A Cerro Gordo deputy stopped a speeding driver after 8 PM on Tuesday evening, August 29, 2017 near Killdeer Avenue and 300th Street in Cerro Gordo county. After an investigation, the driver, Tiffany Kay Milbrath of Mason City, was arrested for two counts of possession of controlled substance (third offense meth and marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.

Milbrath later entered a guilty plea to both drug charges. She has been sentenced to two concurrent 5-year prison sentences with suspended fines and $470.00 in court fees and charges. She now awaits transport to prison.

Milbrath was convicted in Benton county in 2003 for possession with intent to deliver ecstasy. She was later sent to the Mitchellville prison for women and after release, was accused of violating her parole a number of times. She was caught stealing in Mason City in April of 2017 and was later guilty of fifth-degree theft.  She was also accused of stealing from Walmart back in 2014.
